In short. The plain-language summary below explains what you are buying. The full End User License Agreement follows it, and that agreement is the binding one — if the summary and the agreement ever disagree, the agreement governs. The same text ships inside the app under Settings › Legal.
When you buy Kairos Studio you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the software for your own photography. The license covers up to two computers you own or control, and includes every update within the year you buy at no extra cost — buying 2026 includes 2026.1, 2026.2 and so on. A later year (2027) is a new major version and a separate purchase.
The trial lets you use Kairos Studio free for 7 days or 30 processed images, whichever comes first. No payment details are needed to begin.
If Kairos Studio isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
The license is for you. Please don't resell, sublicense or share your license, or attempt to bypass the device limit or the trial. You keep all rights to the photographs you edit. Kairos claims no ownership of your work.
Kairos Studio ships first for macOS on Apple Silicon; a Windows edition is planned. Early-access and founding prices are limited-time and may change or end without notice. Prices are shown in US dollars.
We work hard to make Kairos Studio reliable, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Kairos is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Always keep backups of your original files.
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be posted here. Continuing to use Kairos Studio after a change means you accept the updated terms.

This is the binding agreement between you and Tuskr Photo Gear Pvt Ltd for Kairos Studio. It is the same text shipped inside the app.
By downloading, installing, or using the Software you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. This EULA is a licence, not a sale — you are licensed to use the Software, you do not own it.
Subject to this EULA and your payment (where applicable), Kairos grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software:
(a) Trial: Before purchase, you may evaluate the Software for the trial period and/or image count shown in the app (currently 7 days or 30 images, whichever comes first). The trial is provided "as is".
(b) Paid licence: A purchased licence lets you install and use the Software on the number of Mac computers stated at the time of purchase (currently up to two computers that you personally own or control), and includes the updates described at purchase. Kairos Studio is versioned by YEAR: your purchase includes every update within the year you bought (for example, buying 2026 includes 2026.1, 2026.2 and so on, at no extra cost). A later YEAR release (for example 2027) is a new major version and a separate purchase. The app enforces exactly this: the updater treats the leading year as the entitlement track and only offers you a newer year if your licence covers it.
(c) The licence key or activation you receive is personal to you. Do not share, resell, sublicense, or publish it.
Except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law, or expressly permitted for the open-source components in Section 6, you may not: (a) copy, redistribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Software; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; (c) remove or alter any proprietary notices; (d) circumvent the trial, licensing, or activation mechanisms; (e) use the Software to build a competing product.
The Software, its user interface, its AI models, and all intellectual property in them ("Kairos Intelligence" and related technology) are owned by Kairos or its licensors and are protected by law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You own the photographs and files you open, process, and export with the Software ("Your Content"). Kairos claims no ownership of and no licence to Your Content. The Software processes Your Content locally on your Mac; see the Privacy Policy for details.
The Software includes open-source components (including LibRaw under LGPL-2.1 and Qt under LGPL-3.0). Those components are licensed to you under their own terms, which are reproduced in the "Open Source Licenses" notices bundled with the Software (Settings → View licenses, and the "Open Source Licenses" folder in the disk image). Nothing in this EULA limits your rights under those licenses, including your rights under the LGPL to obtain, modify, and relink those components.
The Software may check for and inform you about available updates. We are not obliged to provide updates or support beyond what is stated at purchase.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING BACKUP COPIES OF YOUR PHOTOS. KAIROS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT PROCESSING WILL NOT ALTER OR LOSE DATA.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAIROS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. KAIROS'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS EULA WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

This licence terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and delete the Software. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
This EULA is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
